About Kelly Lupton

Get to know me!

I need to be honest with you, I hate introductions. It doesn’t matter if it’s in person or online. Let’s face it, we are all multifaceted people, beautiful for the different angles and surfaces we contain. Introductions just want to break us down to the bare minimum and often break us down to a single solitary thing that we do. Introductions want to immediately categorize us into little boxes, that frankly I don’t fit into, and I am sure you don’t either. But in spite of that, here we go.

Hi! My name is Kelly Lupton. It’s great to meet you! I am:

  • A mom of 2 young men who are out exploring the world on their own terms.
  • I have 2 bonus kids who are fantastic in their own ways and are learning about who they are.
  • I am a fur baby mom to 2 puppers, Gunner and Bella.
  • I am engaged and we were planning our dream wedding, until the economy changed and we realized that our dream needs to change focus.
  • I am a survivor of trauma; physical, mental, and emotional. But survivor doesn’t begin to describe what I really am, because I have done so much more than survive.
  • I am an ordained interfaith minister. For what that means, please see the officiant services section of the site. I have 20+ years of experience.
  • I am an ally to people who are neurodivergent, BIPOC, and LGTBQIA+. I know I don’t always do this perfectly, so if I get something wrong, please gently teach. I will listen. But what it boils down to is that I want everyone to be the best them they can be, which means that everyone must have equal rights to do this. I know it is an uphill battle, so to speak, but I honestly believe with perseverance and working together, we will get there.
  • I am politically involved and vote in almost every election. I believe in the democratic process and in our 1st Amendment rights to free speech.
  • I am a supporter of women’s rights, which includes equal pay, access to safe abortions, and so much more.
  • I am a creative person, and my current medium is polymer clay. I make things, I post them and sell them. A lot of what I do is custom work and very individual, but no 2 pieces are the same and if you decide to get something from me, know it was made with the upmost care and love.
  • I love to read, and I am a huge library supporter. I work as a library director in a small town and love that job. It is literally the best job that I didn’t create for myself that I have ever had. We will talk a lot about supporting your libraries.
  • I am very interested in and even practice the occult: tarot, magic, spells, totems, sigils, and lastly numerology, which is my favorite.
  • To sum this up, I am a human with multiple interests and values.

So, what about you? What are the many faceted things that make you up? If the above sounds interesting to you, you should just grab a cup of tea or coffee, sit and down and join the is crazy journey we call life.
